NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS

SNOW SHOVELING REMINDER - Chicago Municipal codes requires both businesses and residents to shovel snow on their sidewalks.  Do you know of someone who isn't shoveling?  The Alderman's office has door hangers you can place on their door to remind them of the law.  You can also call '311'.

SIDEWALK CAFE LICENSE RENEWALS - It's that time of year when businesses have to renew their sidewalk cafe licenses.  Do you have any concerns about any of the sidewalk cafes from last year?  Come to this week's meeting to learn how we can help.

EARLY VOTING FOR PRIMARY ELECTION - You can vote in person at any of the 51 City locations Monday-Saturday 9AM-5PM.  A government photo ID is required.  Absentee voting by mail is also an option - no special reason is needed. The Election Board must receive the application by  Jan. 28, 2010. Remember to vote on February 2nd.
