Dear John,
 
As a reminder, Triangle Neighbors' next meeting is next Wednesday, March 12th, at the LVCC offices (867 W Buckingham Lower Level).  The meeting begins at 7PM and will last until 8:30PM.
 
If you are interested in joining us at the Cubs vs Philly game on Saturday, April 19th, bring your check made payable to 'LVCC' to next Wednesday's meeting.
MEETING AGENDA 
We'll have updates from our standing committees and community groups:
  • CHICAGO CUBS - Updates on Wrigley Field - rumors and facts
  • HALLOWEEN PARADE - Starting the 2008 parade planning process
  • LVCC - Annual meeting coming up in early May and how you can get involved!
  • 44th WARD ISSUES - Including CTA 3-track updates, whatever happens at the City Council meeting on 3/12, posting numbers on the garages in the alleys (revisited) - Mary Kate from Alderman Tunney's Office
  • 44th WARD CDDC - We'll discuss the results from LVCC's Survey on the Proposed Planned Development at Clark and Addison.

SPACE PARK UPDATE

We hope to have an update on our permit to construct the 7' tall fence around the park.  As soon as the permits come in, we'll begin the wall construction. 
 
Things are looking good for another donor who has arranged to provide all the retaining wall pavers.
 
Have you gotten your brick yet?   There's still time but don't delay.  Order your brick today!
ZONING AND LICENSE REQUESTS

Red Ivy (Clark St) - Owner Jesse Boyle would like to discuss expansion of use for a small, 1000 ft2 party room.  It will have a "speakeasy theme" and be called "1914" (the year Wrigley Field was built). 
 
Harry Caray's Tavern (3551 N Sheffield) - Owner Grant DePorter would like to discuss a sidewalk cafe license.  Plus he'll talk about their grand opening celebration on March 26th (6PM - 10PM).  You're invited! (Details to follow)
 
Scarlet's Bar (3320 N Halsted) - Manager Geoff Carlson and Owner Paul Cannella would like to discuss a patio license for Scarlet's back area.  
 
Pizza-Ria (3515 N Clark) - Owner Jeremy Green would like to discuss....
 
Diplomat Hotel - Chris Matan, a private investor, would like to present his plans for the Diplomat Hotel property.
